- Call the bank’s official customer-care number or use the app support channel.
- Block compromised cards or channels if needed.
- Change passwords and PINs only through official channels.
- Do not share OTP, PIN, BVN, card details, or app passwords.
- Ask for a written complaint reference.
Where to escalate
CBN handles complaints involving financial institutions it regulates, but CBN says you should first lodge the complaint with your bank. FCCPC may also receive consumer complaints and may refer matters to sector regulators where appropriate.
